Terms of Sale

1. Overview

These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the AI Policy Template (the "Product") sold through aipolicykit.io ("we," "us," or "our"). By completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Product

The Product is a downloadable digital document, supplied as an editable Microsoft Word .docx file, intended as a starting-point AI use policy that organizations can customize for their own internal use. The Product is delivered electronically via download link after successful payment.

3. Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are payable in full at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full payment card information.

4. License

Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Product within your organization for internal purposes. Full license terms are described on our License page.

5. Refunds

We offer a 7-day, no-questions-asked refund policy. Full details are on our Refund Policy page.

6. Intellectual Property

The Product and all related content, including text, structure, and design, are owned by aipolicykit.io and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your license under Section 4 does not transfer any ownership of intellectual property.

7. No Legal Advice

The Product is a template and is provided for informational purposes only. It is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. While the Product has been reviewed by an attorney, you remain responsible for adapting it to your specific circumstances and for obtaining your own legal counsel where appropriate.

8. No Warranty

The Product is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Product will meet your specific requirements or that its use will satisfy any regulatory or legal obligation applicable to your organization.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, aipolicykit.io will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Product. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Product shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of incorporation of aipolicykit.io, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Product after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
