What you can do

When you purchase the AI Policy Template, aipolicykit.io grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual, company-wide license to:

• Use the template within your organization, across any number of employees and departments.
• Customize the template by editing text, adding sections, and adapting it to your specific needs.
• Distribute the customized version internally to employees, contractors, advisors, and other personnel of your organization.
• Use the customized version as your organization's official AI use policy.

What you cannot do

The license does not permit you to:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the template or any derivative of it outside your organization.
• Share the original (uncustomized) template with anyone outside your organization.
• Publish the template publicly, in whole or in part, in a manner that would substitute for purchasing it.
• Remove or alter any copyright notices, attribution, or proprietary markings included in the original template.
• Use the template or its branding to represent that aipolicykit.io endorses your organization or any third party.

Ownership

aipolicykit.io retains all right, title, and interest in and to the original AI Policy Template, including all intellectual property rights. Your customized version, to the extent it includes your own original content, is owned by you.

Updates

For twelve (12) months from your purchase date, you will receive any updates to the template at no additional cost. Updates may include revised content, new appendices, or improvements. Updates after the 12-month period may require a separate purchase.

Term

Your license is perpetual, subject to your compliance with these terms and with our Terms of Sale. If a refund is issued under our Refund Policy, your license terminates immediately and you must delete all copies of the template.

Termination

aipolicykit.io may terminate this license if you materially breach its terms. Upon termination, you must cease using the template and delete all copies in your possession.
